Charges for services

With effect from 1 April 2011, the following charges will apply for services provided by River Hamble Harbour Authority staff:

1. Emergency towing to nearest point of safety
   Free of charge
2. Other towing/movement of boats
   £55.20 per hour (minimum charge £27.60).
3. Use of maintenance piles
   £25 per 24 hours or part thereof.
   Vessels displaying valid annual Harbour Dues stickers are entitled to the first 24 hours (two high tides) free of charge.
4. Specific visit to check on a boat for security/damage (only at owners request)
   £55.20 per hour  (minimum charge £27.60).
5. Replacing broken or missing fenders or warps
   £55.20 per hour  (minimum charge £27.60), plus 120% of the cost of any materials used.
6. Pumping out (to prevent further damage)
   £55.20 per hour  (minimum charge £27.60).
7. Resecuring or lashing sails and covers (to prevent further damage)
   £55.20 per hour  (minimum charge £27.60).
