Notice to River Users 15 of 2012

River Hamble Events – May 2012

1. Notice is hereby given that the following significant events will take place in and around the River Hamble during May 2012 and may increase the amount of traffic in the River:
   
   4 – 6 May Royal Southern Yacht Club X-Yachts Solent Cup
   5 – 7 May Royal Southern Yacht Club Solent Cruiser Race
   12 May Hamble Sea Scouts Hamble River Raid (Gigs)
   12 May Warsash Sailing Club Youth RIB challenge
   12 May Warsash Sailing Club Monthly Mayhem
   19 May River Hamble Combined Clubs HM’s Pursuit Race
   19 – 20 May Royal Southern Yacht Club Hamble – Yarmouth Cup
   25 – 31 May Royal Southern Yacht Club 175th Anniversary Regatta
   26 MayWarsash Sailing Club Youth RIB challenge
   26 – 27 May Royal Southern Yacht Club May Regatta
   31 May Royal Southern Yacht Club Interclub team racing
2. In addition, Warsash Sailing Club dinghy racing will take place on Wednesday and Friday evenings (starting at 1830) throughout the month. Warsash Sailing Club youth training will take place on the weekends of 5 – 6 May and 19 – 20 May. Foxer racing in the River will take place on Sunday mornings, normally starting at 1100.
3. Please note that this is the first of a series of event notifications for 2012 which will be issued monthly from May until September.
