School group visit options

Guided Day - Foundation

Cost £3.70 per child
Guided sessions are fully planned, organised and resourced by the education team at Staunton.  A member of the team will lead your group through the activities around the park. For foundation level children sessions will last approximately 1 hour

Ratio - 1 adult free for every 3 paying children. All children participating in the guided activity will be charged £3.70. Additional adults will be charged at £4.40.
For smaller guided groups (10 children or less) there will be a minimum fee of £40.

Guided Day - KS1-KS4

Cost £3.70 per child
If you choose to have a guided session, this will be organised, led and resourced by a member of the Education Team. A guided session will normally be for a two hour period before lunch. This enables you to also have an independent session in the afternoon whilst you are in the Park.

A guided session is intended for a class of 30 children. If you are bringing more than one class, we will organise the day so that each class of 30 receives a guided session on a rotational basis throughout the day whilst the other classes are using the Park independently. We can organise and resource these independent sessions for you if required.

Ratio- 1 adult  free for every 5 paying children. Additonal adults will be charged at £4.40
For smaller guided groups (10 children or less) there will be a minimum fee of £40.

Independent Day

Cost £3.20 per child
You spend your day at the Park having planned and resourced it yourself.  See information regarding self-guided activities available to you at a small additional cost.

Ratio - 1 adult free for every 5 paying children. Children under 3 years will be free of charge.

Special Educational Needs

All of the topics offered for guided visits are appropriate to those with special requirements.  We welcome advice from school staff in adapting the session as needed.

Gifted and Talented

During 2006/07 we developed a series of sessions aimed to challenge your able students in a variety of topics.  For more information about this exciting venture please contact the Education team.
