The Sensory Garden has an ambience all of its own. Readily accessible it's an area to relax and contemplate in. The plants to engage visitors await discovery. Water features and wind chimes add further dimensions to this charming garden

The Glasshouses
Venture into the tropics of the Victorian Glasshouse, the largest on the South Coast, and be amazed by exotic species on display. Exotic tropical flowers and plants from around the world set in a rainforest environment, including coconut palms, giant bamboo and bananas. The famous giant Amazon waterlily makes an appearance during the summer months. The lily is in the pool between May and November and blooms in late July Early August - it is well worth a visit just to see that.

The Puzzle Garden and Maze
The Puzzle Garden and Maze were planted in 2002 for the Queen’s Golden Jubilee. It features large outdoor games including chess and maze games, great for families and children’s groups. The yew tree maze is fast establishing too. Located behind the Glasshouses, this young maze is a great place to spend time in with the little ones.
