Quality Documentation

This documentation supports the delivery of Adult and Family Learning. It has been developed to meet the quality requirements contained in Ofsted’s Common Inspection Framework, the Quality Statements of the NCFE Investing in Quality (IIQ) Licence, as well as other Awarding Body requirements and is regularly updated.  

All tutors should maintain a Tutor Course File for each course they deliver and should ensure that the contents are accurate and up-to-date. Centre Managers are encouraged to work with their tutors and staff to identify the most relevant documentation to support their work. Some tutors may choose to adapt or amend planning or tracking documents to better meet the needs of their learners: tutors are requested to discuss any variations with their line manager. In some cases, alternative or additional documents have been included for Wider Family Learning (WFL) and Family English, Maths and Language (FEML) courses
