Hampshire Working Futures

Adult Skills Development

If you are working with adult groups or individuals (aged 19+) who are looking for work* and will benefit from vocational training, Hampshire Futures can help. We have a range of FREE Level 1 qualifications giving learners a broad introduction to a variety of vocational areas. In addition to achieving a recognised qualification (QCF), learners will find out more about working in a specific sector as well as how to progress into employment or further training.

We will provide an experienced tutor to deliver a course at a time and place to suit your organisation and your service users.

Each individual will have their learning needs assessed and will be supported with English, maths, IT and employability skills as appropriate.

We can offer FREE English and maths qualification courses to any adult who has not achieved a C grade or above at Level 2 in those subjects  regardless of employment status (although we will require enough learners to make a viable group).

*All other vocational courses are free to people in receipt of JSA or ESA (WRAG) at the start of the course. If you have potential vocational learners who are not in receipt of JSA or ESA (WRAG) please let us know. We want to support all adults to improve their working prospects but they will have to make a contribution according to their circumstances, by arrangement.
