A Walk Around Jane Austen s Alton

• The regency walk will begin at the Curtis Museum and follow a route around Alton passing many buildings that would have been familiar to Jane when she lived in nearby Chawton. It will be on firm ground all the way and take about 1½ hours ending at the Allen Gallery Garden - which once belonged to Jane s Alton Apothecary, Dr Curtis.
