A fully illustrated talk detailing the history of the line from its beginning to its closure to passengers in 1935, and beyond, as some parts of the line are now popular for cycling and walking. The main part of the talk is a photographic trip along the route starting at Ringwood and terminating at Christchurch with many fascinating stories along the way.
