Complaints about the Police and Crime Panel and/or its Members
If you wish to make a complaint regarding the alleged conduct of an elected Member of the Police and Crime Panel (the Panel), you should send your complaint to the Local Authority of which he/she is a Member. Please see the relevant Local Authority's website for details of how to make a complaint against one of their Members. If you are unsure about which Local Authority the individual concerned is a Member of, this information is available on the PCP Members page.
If you wish to make a complaint regarding the alleged conduct of a co-opted Member of the Panel who is not a Member of a Local Authority you should send your complaint to the Monitoring Officer of Hampshire County Council as follows:
Mrs B Beardwell
Hampshire County Council
Telephone: 01962 845157
If you wish to make a complaint regarding the administration of the Panel and its meetings, you should contact the Panel's scrutiny officer, Katie Benton (via e-mail: email@example.com, or by telephone on: 01962 847336) who will make the necessary arrangements for your complaint to be considered on behalf of Hampshire County Council, being the Local Authority responsible for such administration. If you are unhappy with the outcome of the County Council's internal complaints procedure, you can make a complaint regarding maladministration to the Local Government Ombudsman.
