4. Digital Hampshire Strategy

To consider a report of Jos Creese, Head of IT, Hampshire County Council providing the Senate with an update on work to develop a Digital Strategy for Hampshire.

5. Insulate Hampshire

To consider a report from Dave Yates, Chief Executive, New Forest District Council to update the Senate on progress with the ‘Insulate Hampshire’ scheme.

6. Infrastructure Update

To receive a presentation from John Osborne, Deputy Director of Economy, Transport and Environment, Hampshire County Council updating the Senate on work to identify future infrastructure needs in Hampshire.

7. Any Other Business / future agenda items

To discuss any other matters of business and to consider any proposals for future agenda items.

4. Skills Development in Hampshire – Next Steps

To receive a briefing note from the Chief Executive of Hampshire County Council on the development of work following the presentation from Professor Joy Carter at the last Senate Plenary Session.

5. Hampshire Groundwater Flood Resilience

To receive a presentation from Andy Gilham, Area Flood Risk Manager at the Environment Agency on groundwater monitoring, flood mitigation and management, including an update on the current position following an unusually wet late spring/summer. A briefing note on the Flood and Water Management Act 2010 is attached as background information.

6. Safer Communities

To receive a presentation from Alastair Sackley, Community Strategy Manager, Hampshire County Council and Chief Inspector Jerry Patterson, Hampshire Constabulary on the joint programme of work to further improve the effectiveness of safer neighbourhood activity.

7. Insulate Hampshire

To consider a report from Dave Yates, Chief Executive, New Forest District Council to update the Senate on progress with the ‘Insulate Hampshire’ scheme.

8. Supporting (Troubled) Families – The Hampshire Ambition

To receive a presentation from Paul Archer, Assistant Chief Executive and Ian Langley, STF Programme Strategic Co-ordinator, Hampshire County Council updating the Senate on the approach to, and work programme for the Supporting (Troubled) Families initiative.

9. Any Other Business / future agenda items

To discuss any other matters of business and to consider any proposals for future agenda items.
