Hampshire Now - your County Council magazine

Welcome

There’s no better time than the summer to get out and about and explore your county, and this edition of Hampshire Now is packed full of ideas for things to do and see over the coming months.

To help you make the most of your summer, check out our article ‘Be inspired by Hampshire’ for a list of our top ten attractions – many of which are free to visit.

We will also once again be attending the New Forest and Hampshire County Show. The Show will be taking place from 28 - 30 July at New Park, Brockenhurst, and is an excellent opportunity for us to meet and chat to you about our services. For more information read our article: New Forest and Hampshire County Show

Highways maintenance is a top priority for us and in this issue we answer some of your frequently asked questions on potholes and road works. For those interested in Hampshire’s past, our ‘Hampshire history’ feature explores the impact that King Henry VIII’s reign had on the county, and our ‘Hampshire food’ feature provides the perfect summertime lunch-box recipe.

Plus, we’ve got a great competition for you to enter and our walking feature for this edition takes place in the beautiful villages of Liphook and Whitehill.

Enjoy!
