From the Leader

In this edition of Hampshire Now you will read about the ways we are rising to the challenge of reduced funding in our annual budget report. There is also information about how the County Council has been performing, with examples of how we are building on previous successes to ensure we continue to deliver excellent services for taxpayers.

This edition also contains details about the steps we are taking to prepare for the cold winter months and the measures we will carry out to make sure Hampshire keeps moving - whatever the weather throws at us!

Instead of our usual interview with a Hampshire personality, we have decided to devote this space to an Armed Forces special. This one-off feature highlights some of the important work we are doing to help forces personnel return to civilian life.
