From the Leader
Welcome to the winter edition of Hampshire Now, which is filled with information about the County Council and our services.
We tell you about the ceremonies we hold in Hampshire to celebrate those acquiring citizenship of this country. You can read about Hampshire’s children’s centres and learn more about the training and education support available to young people as the minimum age for leaving education or training is raised to 17 from 2013 and 18 from 2015. There is also an opportunity for you to vote for someone you know in the Good Neighbour Awards 2013.
Our Hampshire personality is Patricia Kelly-Blyth who tells us why she has been a foster carer for Hampshire County Council for over 17 years. You will find our regular features inside, such as the Hampshire walk on which is in Soberton and Newtown, and find out more about community transport in ‘Ask the expert’.
