Hampshire Now - your County Council magazine

Welcome

Spring is upon us and the cold winter weather has hopefully all but passed. This edition of Hampshire Now explores how Hampshire County Council is dedicated to delivering more for less. The Audit Commission recently announced that we are performing ‘excellently’ in the new Comprehensive Area Assessment (CAA). We aim to maintain the high standards the Council has set and continue to drive success for our residents.

Also in this edition discover tips from our Registration Service, from helping register births and marriages to deaths and citizenship. We also take a look at the Building Schools for the Future programme, aimed at enhancing the county’s schools.

How much do you know about our adult social care services? They could significantly benefit you or your family. Also, the leafy north-Hampshire village of Hartley Wintney is explored in our featured walk. Visit our website, Hantsweb, for information on our services.
