Rules

The following rules apply to the Hantsweb awards 2005:

• Nominations are open to everyone.

• You may nominate your own website.

• Participating websites and Internet access points must be based in Hampshire or the Isle of Wight.

• Websites considered offensive or threatening will be disqualified.

• Websites which do not conform to UK, European and international legislation - for example copyright and data protection law will be disqualified.

• Nominations cannot be accepted for Hampshire County Council funded websites.

• The competition will open on the 20th September 2005. The closing date for nominations is the 16th December 2005.

• Short-listed nominees will be asked to agree to publicity photos and media coverage including photos on the web.

• Awards are made at the discretion of the judges.

• The right is reserved not to make an award in a particular category.
