Hampshire County Council is entering into a partnership with the Post-Adoption Centre (PAC) to provide monthly counselling sessions at a venue within Hampshire.
If you would like to discuss any matters relating to adoption with a counsellor who has specialist experience in this field then call us on the number below. We offer one-to-one and family sessions. Our staff are professionally qualified and is a racially and culturally diverse group of male and female counsellors. PAC is an independent charity and our service is confidential.
Free counselling sessions available for
- Adoptive parents and permanent carers
- Birth mothers, birth fathers and other birth relatives
- Adopted adults
- Transracially adopted teenagers and adults
- Professionals working in adoption

The Advice Line is open Monday to Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 1pm and on Thursday from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
The Post-Adoption Centre is a registered charity which has been providing independent adoption support for over twenty years.
The County Council is funding a new partnership entitling residents (Hampshire council tax payers, including those exempted)to receive a range of PAC’s expert services, including telephone advice, a monthly outreach counselling surgery in Winchester, and access to workshops, seminars and groups for all parties to adoption.
