What if...

Would you know what to do in an emergency?

Hampshire County Council is supporting the BBC's three-day campaign designed to help families be better prepared to face emergencies like flooding, fire or power failures.

Over the three days Monday 12 to Wednesday 14 January BBC Radio Solent is being joined by experts from the County and district councils' Emergency Planning departments, police, fire, medical and utility services, as well as the Environment Agency and Met Office to provide advice on simple measures that will help you to help yourself.

Further guidance and advice on what to do is on the Hampshire Prepared website (www.hampshireprepared.co.uk) developed by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Local Resilience Forum, which is made up of all the emergency services, local authorities and others who would be involved in an emergency, all working together to prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies.
