Advanced Civil Engineering apprenticeship programme
Our civil engineering apprenticeship develops skilled and professionally qualified staff from entry level.
Apprentices will develop the skills and knowledge to practise as a civil engineer or technician through:
You’ll work towards a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment (Civil Engineering) and NVQ level 3 Diploma in Civil Engineering for Technicians (Institution of Civil Engineers).
You’ll have a line manager to supervise your work and discuss your learning and development, and a buddy and a mentor to provide guidance and encouragement. All civil engineering apprentices meet quarterly to review progress and share learning.
Hampshire County Council provides a number of apprenticeship programmes that will help participants work towards a professional and rewarding career. We offer hands on training, supported learning and at the end of your apprenticeship you will have gained nationally recognised qualifications.
