Accessibility

We endeavour to make the grounds and buildings accessible. The Gardens contain a series of all-ability paths. The Pavilion and Jermyn’s House have accessible toilets with baby changing facilities.

Wheelchairs and motorised scooters

Wheelchairs are available free of charge. Motorised scooters are also available at the small charge of £3.95 for 3 hours. The driver must complete a simple form and have reasonable eyesight, reactions and handgrasp. Short instruction on using the scooters will be given.

Book in advance

To avoid disappointment, we strongly advise booking ahead as availability of wheelchairs and scooters may be limited. Accessible parking for the registered disabled is available at the front of the Pavilion. Entry for carers of people with disabilities is free. Guide dogs and hearing dogs are welcome.

Car parking

Accessible parking for the registered disabled is available at the front of the Pavilion and in the closest visitor car park.
