    Iconic Centenary Border –  thought to be the longest double border in the UK. A kaleidoscope of colour, simply stunning from May through to October.

    Sir Harold Hillier Gardens is world-renowned for its display of Autumn colour.

    Enjoy one of the largest Winter Gardens of its kind in Europe with plants specially selected to be at their best between November and March.

    Our contemporary 100-seater Pavilion Restaurant enjoys open terrace views across the Gardens and is ideal for larger groups. Ask about our competitive set menu options and prices for lunches.

  • Jermyns House

    Afternoon Teas

    Jermyn’s House, the Victorian manor house is an idyllic setting within the Gardens. Hot and cold lunches and delicious cream teas can be served in the house or on the lawn. Pre-purchase catering vouchers are available for groups.

 

Guided Tours

All group members receive a free ‘plants of interest’ leaflet and colour map, ideal for self-guided visits. If you prefer a guided tour with our horticultural experts, these are competitively priced and can be booked in advance (some foreign language tours maybe available).

Sir Harold Hillier Gardens is just 3 miles from the picturesque market town of Romsey. Tourist attractions in the the town include Romsey Abbey, King John’s House and Broadlands (the home of the late Lord Mountbatten of Burma).

If you wish to combine your visit with another local attraction, Sir Harold Hillier Gardens is conveniently located just 7 miles off the M27 (J3) close to Bournemouth, Winchester, Portsmouth, Salisbury and The New Forest.

Access

The gardens and buildings are accessible with an all-ability path network and accessible WCs. Mobility scooters are available (pre-book in advance). Wheelchairs are also available.
