Find your way to a garden paradise
The Gardens are situated 2 miles north-east of Romsey in Hampshire and are signposted with the white on brown tourist signs as the ‘Hillier Gardens’.
From the south: From junction 3 of the M27, follow the A3057 signs to Romsey from where you will find the Gardens clearly signposted.
From the north: From the M3 Winchester direction, you can exit junction 11, and follow the signs to Hursley and Ampfield.
From the Andover direction, follow the A3057

Designated free onsite coach parking and drop-off point close to the Ticket Desk.

Important note to drivers of coaches and high vehicles:
If approaching the Gardens from Romsey on the A3090 Winchester Road, drivers of large coaches and double-decker buses should be aware of the height restrictions at the bridge next to the Sun Arch public house. The bridge is restricted to 10’6’’ (3.1m). To avoid this route please approach the Gardens from Romsey via the A3057 Stockbridge road, following the white-on-brown tourist signs.
The nearest station is Romsey.
Bicycle racks are available situated outside close to the main visitor entrance.
Please note: Bicycles / tricycles, roller skates, skateboards, and scooters are not permitted in the Gardens.
Route 66 - Winchester to Romsey
This service is operated by Stagecoach Bus and stops just outside of the main entrance to the Gardens.
The bus stop is named “Abbotswood, Hillier Arboretum” to plan your journey visit Stagecoach Bus website for the latest timetable.
