Sir Harold Hillier Gardens

Brentry Woodland

Brentry Wood

This is the home of most of the Gardens' collection of Rhododendrons, with largely hybrids to the west and species to the east. The roadside at the eastern end is lined with a striking array of deciduous azaleas, which during May, shout their vibrant colours and powerful fragrance at passers-by.

At the Gardens we have approximately 1,307 different types of Rhododendron with the largest collection in Brenty Woodland. The Rhododendrons can also be seen in Spring Walk (East & West) and the Himalayan Valley. Ask at the Ticket Desk for a guide to our Rhododendron and Azalea collection.
