In 2010 our team of Volunteers gave over 5,500 hours of their time to help in the Gardens, whether it be gardening, welcoming visitors, sending membership tickets, helping the Education Department, or stewarding various events to name but a few activities. With their support visitors can have a more enjoyable time with us.
We are still recruiting new volunteers to help with many aspects of the Gardens. Anyone interested in joining this team – it doesn’t matter how much or how little time you can give - please contact our Volunteer Co-ordinator. Enthusiasm and commitment are the main criteria but if you have any horticultural experience that could be an advantage.
If you are interested in becoming a Volunteer please contact our Volunteer Co-ordinator on the email address below or telephone 01794 369305, and please leave your name, postal address and phone number plus an email address if you have one.
