HIV in Hampshire

HIV for Adult and Children's Services

We have designed the website to give reliable and up-to-date information on HIV and related issues and includes

  • information for those infected or affected by HIV
  • information about living with HIV
  • information and links about how to prevent the spread of the virus
  • the services provided by the Adults Services and Children's Services Departments and their partner agencies in the National Health Service and the HIV voluntary sector

The number of people infected or affected by HIV is continuing to increase, and it is important to remember that HIV is an issue for all of us in Hampshire, no matter which section of the community we belong to. There is still no cure or vaccine for HIV but advances in treatment now means that people with HIV have a positive future.

Some of this information is by its nature sexually explicit – if you are likely to be offended by such information, please do not access these parts of the website.
