Ambition: the newly commissioned musical looking for performers...

Ambition Musical

We have commissioned a musical and seeking performers from school years Y10-Y14 living in or attending school or college in Hampshire

Rehearsals start in January 2017, with performances in late April and mid May.

Auditions take place in Portsmouth Monday 19 December, 10am - 4pm for all-day workshops

There are a mix of leading roles and of course the general chorus.

An overview of the plot: Ambition asks what people are willing to give up in order to fulfil their dreams, and explores this theme via the story of a boy band. It centres around the manager of five young men who are drawn together to form a pop group. It follows the story of their intertwined successes and failures, before tragedy strikes, leading them to question their role in celebrity, pop culture, and the wider world. It’s challenging, fun and, above all, entertaining!
