Sept 2011 HTM have supplied the Dial-a-Ride Service with two new wheelchair accessible vehicles.

Sept 2011 Congratulations to HTM's apprentices. Two have completed their NVQ level 3 in vehicle technician training and have been appointed as Vehicle Technicians. Our three new apprentices have completed their first year and are working towards the same award. We are also interviewing for further apprentices.

Starting 2008 Does your driving licence need to be renewed?
Photo card licences were introduced in 1998 and are current for a 10 year period only Please be aware that licences will start to expire from 2008. DrIving without a valid licence can result in a fine of up to £1,000. £17.50 is the cost of renewal. Section 4b on the front of your photo card displays the date of which the photo is due to expire.

Implications for employees and their managers
As a reminder to managers of staff who are required to drive on the business of the County Council, you are required to ensure that those employees are legally entitled to drive. This will therefore include checking that the employee’s driving licence has not expired. HTM will not hold any responsibility for checking licences.
