SIMS - Schools Information Management System
Hampshire County Council recommends that schools use the software package "SIMS" from Capita as their information management system.
SIMS .net is a large software package, with many additional modules, that help schools to manage their day to day tasks, and help ensure that schools meet their statutory obligations to the Government.
- SIMS .net is easy to use in the classroom and in the office.
- Reduces workload and saves time and resources, leaving more time to focus on improving standards in teaching and learning.
- Enhances pupil performance by quickly analysing and detecting problems, improving communications, and helping schools make better decisions with accurate real-time data.
- SIMS solutions encompass software, support, and services tailored to fit the distinct needs of headteachers, school administrators, teachers, parents, and pupils.
