Improving Profitability of a Museum Café

Milestones Museum needed its café to deliver profits to help support the rest of the museum. We worked with Museum staff to reduce high casual staffing costs by simplifying the menu, so that all food and drink can be produced by fewer staff at the café counter.
We also advised on reviewing prices and introducing offers and vouchers to encourage additional spending. A children’s offer was also introduced to appeal to young families – one of the key target audiences for the Museum.
