Longparish

Second only to Nether Wallop in size, Longparish sits between two roads from Andover to Basingstoke. Much of Harewood Forest is within this parish.

A monument in the forest commemorates the murder of Earl Aetholwold, Earl of Hampshire, by King Edgar in 963.
