East Boldre

East Boldre was formed as a separate Civil Parish in 1929 from the Parish of Boldre. It has over thirty Bronze Age barrows within its boundaries, most of which - in common with others in the New Forest - have been investigated. In this Parish is Hatchet Pond, a forest haunt for tourist and naturalist alike. During the last war there was an airfield here.

Further information on attractions to discover in the area and other interesting villages to visit is available.  For information on public services for East Boldre please take a look at the Brockenhurst local pages.
