The Corporate Strategy is Hampshire County Council’s statement of how we intend to respond to changes and challenges. It identifies common aims with partners and sets priorities and real targets for improvement.

The strategy is divided into three key priorities with the overarching aim of ‘developing the quality of life for everyone’.  The switchboard team supports these aims and in doing so states that:

• We aim to answer your telephone call within 10 seconds

• We aim to provide a professional service and respond in a confident and cheerful manner

• We aim to transfer your call to the correct person or department or to give you the information you need to contact them direct

We are keen to improve our service – please help us by giving us your views and suggestions.  We recognise that sometimes things can go wrong and we have procedures to deal with complaints.
