This centre is a partnership office between Hampshire County Council, New Forest District Council, New Milton Town Council and the Citizens Advice Bureau. The aim is to provide a central point of information in the town where any enquiries about local services can be answered.

The information desk  has staff from Hampshire County Council and New Forest District Council  who are able to answer questions about services provided locally and throughout Hampshire.  They have access to information on a wide range of subjects including, recreation, sports facilities, adult education, community information, schools, childcare, support for the elderly, local clubs and societies, waste disposal and road maintenance to name but a few.

The office also provides facilities for local residents to pay their council tax and housing rent, look at planning applications, purchase bin bags and parking cards.  A computer provides customers with free access to New Forest District Council  and Hampshire County Councils web sites and can be booked in advance to ensure it is available.

There are also regular specialist surgeries when pensions and housing needs staff are on hand to offer one-to-one advice sessions with residents either by appointment or on a drop in basis.

The Citizens Advice Bureau is located in a separate area on the ground floor.  They offer a drop in and appointment service and give advice on debt management, legal and consumer issues, benefits and much more.
