If you are interested in the Hosted School Service, just fill in our online form or contact the IT Help Desk. (It's merely an expression of interest at this stage, it doesn't commit you to taking up the service.)

Remember you can read about HSS in detail first, and consider how it will help you meet the needs defined in your ICT strategy. You can look through the FAQs, and talk to other schools already using HSS - just to help you make the right decision.

Visiting the school

After we receive your expression of interest, a Hampshire IT consultant will contact you. They will arrange a date and time to visit you at school.

During this first visit they will discuss your ICT strategy; this meeting typically takes an hour and a half.

Afterwards, the consultant will arrange for an audit of your existing IT estate and then create a detailed proposal for your school. They'll arrange a time to come back and discuss it with you.

This second meeting typically takes an hour.

Going ahead with the Hosted School Service

If you are happy with the proposal, you should contact your consultant to confirm that you wish to proceed with the contract.

We then allocate you a project manager who will arrange for the installation.

The estimated time from receipt of order to implementation is approximately 12-14 weeks. For a secondary school, we recommend that installation takes place over a school holiday.

Training

Our training team will be in touch to arrange an introductory session at no extra cost. This will give you an overview of the new software and operating system.
