Strategic Environmental Delivery
The Strategic Environmental Delivery Group incorporates landscape architects, ecologists and land and coastal planners. It is based in Hampshire County Council’s Economy, Transport and Environment Department.
The work of the team is important to the shaping of Hampshire's future through development and delivery of environmental initiatives which help to ensure that the special character that makes Hampshire such an attractive place is conserved. You can find out more on the Planning and Management of Hampshire's Landscapes pages.

As Hampshire’s communities develop, they accommodate change whilst protecting established character. The team also works to deliver environmental improvements through highway related urban and rural projects which link to market town economic viability
The Historic Environment is reflected in the landscape character, buildings and archaeological sites. A dedicated team maintains a record of what has survived from the past and provides advice on their care and protection.
