Recent Consultations

Market Street and The Square, Winchester

Hampshire County Council and Winchester City Council are planning to extend the improvements in the High Street to The Square and Market Street.  A public consultation on proposed improvements to the paving and drainage, and possible traffic management options, in this area was held on 16 July 2010 at the Winchester BID Offices, Parchment Street.

Improvements to Southampton Road and The Close, Ringwood

Hampshire County Council's Country Town's Initiative team are working in partnership with New Forest District Council and Ringwood Town Council to improve Southampton Road and The Close in Ringwood. Exhibitions on the proposed plans took place in May and have now ended but you can still find out more about the proposed plans.

Cove Village Environmental Improvements

Hampshire County Council's Regeneration of Older Urban Areas team are working with Rushmoor Borough Council and the community of Cove to improve the village. Proposals for the scheme can be viewed on Rushmoor Borough Council's website.

Leigh Park, Havant

The Regeneration of Older Urban Areas team are also working with Havant Borough Council for proposed works to Somborne Drive and Bishopstoke Road, Leigh Park.

Further information will be available on the Havant Borough Council from Monday 29 June 2009.

The consultation will run until 24 July 2009.

Fareham

Hampshire County Council's Regeneration of Older Urban Areas team are working with Fareham Borough Council and the local community on an environmental improvement scheme at the Eastern end of West Street, Fareham.

All exhibition material is available on the Fareham Borough Council website and all comments are welcome these should can be submitted on line or by letter but need to be received by 31 July 2009
