Castle Street, Portchester
This is a partnership scheme between Fareham Borough Council and Hampshire County Council. The scheme is a restoration of the lighting, pavements and roads of a virtually intact 18th Century street that leads to the internationally famous Portchester Castle.
The scheme uses traditional style light columns, natural stone kerbing, channels and paving, and resin bound surfacing to enhance the village character of the Conservation Area.
