North Camp, Farnborough

   

The regeneration strategy for North Camp sets out a vision of a ‘highly accessible, vibrant retail and residential neighbourhood providing a high quality environment where people can live, work and spend their leisure time’.

Environmental Improvements have supported this vision by rationalisating street furniture, providing new paving, tree and shrub planting and using natural stone materials to enhance the character of the place.

Future work includes improvements to an important pedestrian area at the junction of Camp Road and Lynchford Road. This includes working with local artists, schools and community groups to create a piece of public art which will become the centre piece to this key gateway.
