Community Involvement
You can get involved at any stage of the process to achieve local environmental improvements, from the plan and policy making through to the design, implementation and management of projects.
You can help in practical ways by:
Gathering information and helping in surveys researching local needs or places, for example, for Village Design Statements or Historic Parks and Gardens.
Contacting and supporting the person responsible for the site in which you have an interest, for example, the head teacher of your local school or the unit manager of a care home.
Contributing your time, skills or money to support Community Action Hampshire
Attend exhibitions of proposals and make your views known to the project officer, and the planning or highway authority as appropriate.
Join or support local groups or organisations involved in influencing or making changes in the environment.
Set up your own group, such as a residents association or ‘friends of’ group.
These organisations may be able to offer assistance or advice on your project
