"Sustainability is a Local Issue"- workshop with the Not for Profit Sector
Community Action Hampshire and Hampshire County Council held a workshop with Hampshire's community and voluntary organisations at the Discovery Centre in Winchester on 7th December 2010. This was an exciting opportunity to open discussions to inform how the County Council might improve the delivery of its environmental services and get a better understanding of the excellent voluntary and community environmental initiatives already happening. Market Street and The Square, Winchester
Hampshire County Council and Winchester City Council plan to extend the High Street improvements to The Square and Market Street. A public consultation was held in July on the proposed improvements to the paving and drainage, and possible traffic management options, in this area. A further event was held on Monday 13th December from 10.00am to 7.00pm at the Winchester Guildhall.
