Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of Course Bookings & Consultancy Events

Cancellations can only be accepted if received by e-mail. Where a course booking has been confirmed by Workforce Development the following will apply:

Charged Courses: Cancellations received 2 weeks or less before the start date of the event will incur the full charge, however the assignment of a substitute attendee can be made any time during the four weeks.

Substitutions will only be accepted if notification is received by email by the training administration team 24 hours prior to the commencement of the course.

Workforce Development reserves the right to cancel any course at short notice if it becomes necessary to do so. In that event you will be notified as soon as possible and advised of options for alternative dates or transfered to another course at no extra charge. If you prefer to withdraw your booking, a full refund will be made.

Note for Social Services Staff:

You need to be aware that once a place has been allocated to you on a course, the Social Services money has been committed from the budget.  If you or a replacement does not attend Social Services still have to pay for the place you have booked.  You should therefore make every effort to attend or find a replacement.
