Manual Handling, Back Care and Well being

HLC is able to offer standard and bespoke training at nationally recognised levels of best practice. All the Moving and Handling  team are qualified Nurses and Registered Members of the National Back Exchange. The team have many years experience in the health care sector, both with the NHS and in a Local Authority setting, including Adult and Children’s Services and Education.  The manual handling team is able to design and deliver  accessible courses for a wide range of people - from care staff to managers and for people with English as a second language or with poor literacy and comprehension skills.

We currently have contracts for Hampshire County Council, Surrey County Council, Southampton City Council and Partnership in Care Training (PaCT).
