Display Screen Equipment

Hampshire Learning Centre and their specialist trainers have developed a 20 minute e-learning course to introduce you to safe working practices and methods for using Display Screen Equipment.

What will the Display Screen Equipment e-Learning cover?
This e-Learning will look at health and safety practices and the correct procedures for using the equipment, and how you should follow these to prevent injury.

Learning Aim:

To provide employees with the relevant information, instruction and training to ensure they are able to co-operate with the Council’s aim of ensuring their health remains unaffected through the use of Display Screen Equipment.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this e-learning you will be able to:

• understand employee’s responsibilities under Health and Safety Laws

• state the hazards associated with the use of Display Screen Equipment

• adjust and customise DSE workstations (and working practices) to ensure an ergonomically safe working environment.

Visits and progression through the course are tracked so that training via e-learning can be measured for effectiveness and provide a log as part of individual performance development
This e-Learning is aimed at all staff who use computing equipment.
This e-Learning will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.
