Hampshire Learning Centre, working with Adult Services have developed a 15 minute e-learning course to introduce you to Direct Payments.


Learning Aims:

The aim of this e-Learning is to provide you with a good working knowledge of Direct Payments and the ability to confidently complete the Direct Payments process.


Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this e-Learning you should be able to:

  • Explain departmental policy for Direct Payments

  • Explain who is eligible for Direct Payments

  • Explain how Direct Payments can be used

  • Assess whether a person has capacity to consent to Direct Payments

  • Set up Direct Payments

  • Explain the Direct Payments review process

  • Know what support is available for Service Users, Carers and Staff


About this e-Learning

Visits and progression through the course are tracked so that training via e-learning can be measured for effectiveness and provide a log as part of individual performance development
