Service Desk

Service Desk is your first point of contact for all IT faults and problems.

Core Hours 07:30- 17:00 Monday to Friday

The IT Service Desk provides support on all matters relating to IT including:

  • all Hantsnet services
  • corporate & customer applications
  • networks
  • telecommunications
  • hardware maintenance.

When you call, you will be asked for your Hantsnet User ID (if you log a call for someone else, please state their User ID).

You may also be asked for:

  • the Asset Number of your machine (see the sticker "Property of Hampshire County Council IT Services")

  • the App Server Number (under the My Computer icon on your Hantsnet desktop - see screenshot below).

Out of Hours

If your issue is business critical and cannot wait until the next working day then please follow your normal departmental escalation path.
