Learning at the Centre Project at Basingstoke Discovery Centre

The Project offers Independent Living Skills short courses and other activities for adults with learning and physical disabilities.

Recently Learning at the Centre participants  have enjoyed…

• discovering the history of Basingstoke and making a display called My History
• creating amazing poems with our Poet-in-residence
• relaxing with dance and  movement  
• practicing how to identify different coins and how to count out the money to buy everyday things
• finding out how the Basingstoke Safe Place Scheme works
