Home Library Services

If you are housebound and unable to visit the library we can usually arrange for books and audio books to be delivered on a regular basis by staff or volunteers. There is no charge and requests are free to users of this service.

If you have a neighbour or friend who would be willing to visit the library for you, we can register this person as a 'Good Neighbour'. Library staff will happily assist in choosing books for you and your Good Neighbour will not have to pay fines incurred.

Hampshire libraries have an excellent selection of books in large, as well as standard, print to suit your personal reading tastes and interests. We also stock a large range of audio books.

We usually make separate arrangements for people living in residential accommodation, including sheltered housing. Community Library Link vehicles operate in some areas.
