Reminiscence Collection

The Reminiscence Collection consists of videos, slides, posters, games and quizzes, postcards, printed and recorded music, jigsaws, photographs, talking tapes and of course booksl which can be used to stimulate and support reminiscence. Anyone can borrow items, but it is especially useful to those involved in the care of older people.

Library staff will be able to show you a catalogue of the material held in the Reminiscence Collection which is not on open access to members of the public.

There is no charge to request or borrow items and material may be collected from any library. Due to the high demand for items in the collection the following restrictions apply -

• 2 items per borrower
• 3 week loan maximum
• items loaned must be the responsibility of a named individual, not an Institution or Home
