Hantsphere

A selection of photographs, postcards, prints, books, newspaper articles, documents and images of artefacts from local libraries, archives and museums have been digitised and made searchable. The vast majority of digitised items originated in the Local Studies collections of Hampshire's and Portsmouth City's libraries.

Hantsphere also contains Hampshire Bibliography - over 27,000 entries relating to books, articles, pamphlets and chapters in books with information on places, people, events and general information on Hampshire. Easily searched using keywords as explained in Hantsphere’s “tips” section, relevant records can be retrieved to your specification.

It will also find any photographs relating to the subject at the same time and these can be seen on screen.
