Presentation of the Queen's Award for Enterprise to Helios

An important role of the Lieutenancy is showing national recognition for groups, individuals and businesses that perform outstanding work in the County of Hampshire through the presentation of honours, medals and awards on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen.

As well as National Awards, such as OBEs and MBEs’ which may need to be presented locally if a recipient is unable to attend an investiture, medals may also be presented to military personnel or civilians at a local ceremony by the Lord-Lieutenant or one of her Deputies.

The Lord Lieutenant will also present the Queen's Awards for Enterprise or Voluntary Service at a local venue arranged by the company or organisation which has been honoured.
