Winchfield

Winchfield includes attractive scenery especially along the disused canal.  The manor is recorded in the Domesday Survey.  Winchfield House dates from the eighteenth century, with Regency additions.

The small church forms an outstanding example of Norman architecture, hardly altered in 800 years except for the sixteenth century south porch, modern north aisle and top stage of the tower.

Further information on attractions to discover in the area and other interesting villages to visit is available.  For information on public services for Winchfield please take a look at the Hook local pages.
